Danish Guard Hussars have taken over from their fellow Royal Life Guards as part of the British-led NATO Battlegroup Estonia. The Guard Hussars are a highly mobile mechanized infantry unit. The name of their company goes back to the Norse mythology and one of its gods, Vidar -- a fearless warrior who was always ready to fight a battle. The Vidar Company served in Estonia in 2017 and 2018.
